Returning to France’s Betclic Elite, following a brief stint with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv at the top of the 2024-25 season, Jordan Loyd was the driving force for AS Monaco in a comeback win, 89-72, against Cholet in Salle Gaston Medecin on Sunday.

The 31-year-old combo guard piled up 24 points in Round 5 of the Regular Season. He was perfect from the field with 4/4 two-pointers and 4/4 three-pointers but missed one of his five free throws.

The visitors built a 14-point advantage in the first half but could not hold on and were forced to 3-1 by the defending champions. La Roca Team registered 52 points after the break, including a 30-8 run in the fourth quarter, to go up to 3-2. Nick Calathes (knee), Petr Cornelie, Mike James, and Furkan Korkmaz (thigh) did not suit up for the team coached by Sasa Obradovic.

With action at Le Colisee spilling into a third overtime, Elan Chalon edged out LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, 109-107. Dusan Ristic placed 23 points in the first win of the season for the team coached by Savo Vucevic.
