An early double-digit advantage did not seal the deal but AS Monaco took down JDA Dijon, 76-74, with a strong finish in Salle Gaston Medecin on Sunday.

Jaron Blossomgame was the top performer for the team guided by Sasa Obradovic. Clutch efforts by the 31-year-old forward and solid defense in the last possession created a 6-2 domestic record. Juhann Begarin, Nick Calathes, Mouhammadou Jaiteh, Mike James, Donatas Motiejunas, and Elie Okobo were unavailable for Round 8 of France’s Betclic Elite Regular Season.

In Astroballe, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne sidestepped a furious rally by Nanterre 92 to prevail, 109-103, and progress to 6-2. Putting in 13 points and eight rebounds, newcomer Andre Roberson was among six double-digit scorers. Nando de Colo stood out with 19 points and seven assists. Melvin Ajinca, Edwin Jackson, Paris Lee, Neal Sako, and Admiral Schofield did not suit up.

Also to 6-2, Paris enjoyed a lopsided win, 97-65, over Saint-Quentin in Palais des Sports Pierre Ratte. Connecting 10/17 from the field, including six triples, Nadir Hifi dropped 29 points. Daulton Hommes, Mikael Jantunen, and Leon Kratzer were out.

Improving to a LNB-high 6-1 on Saturday, Cholet defeated Limoges CSP, 75-69.
