ASVEL, Chalon/ Soane, Monaco and Strasbourg are the big winners of the first day in the French “Leaders Cup” which is held in Disneyland, Paris. The top eight teams of the ProA league standings fight for the trophy in a three-day final-eight tournament.
The newcomer in the ProA, Monaco, once more stole the show with recent addition D.J.Cooper scoring a big three with 1,5 minute left. This shot was enough for his team in order to beat Nanterre as no one else scored in the remaining time until the final buzzer.
On the other hand, former NBA player Rodrigue Beaubois added one more amazing performance for Strasbourg with 22 points without missing a shot (2/2 2p., 3/3 3p., 6/6 FT).
