After a very long post in the Facebook in which the president of Limoges Frederic Forte attacks the French league LNB and the French basketball federation, he has to “give explanations” to the federation.
The post of Forte is titled “an open letter to myself”, accuses the LNB and the federation for double standards on the way they treat FIBA and the teams which are interested in playing in Euroleague and he also reveals that Limoges is also in contact with Euroleague for a three year contract in Eurocup, provided that “the competition calendar doesn’t create any issues to the national league competitions”.
It remains to be seen how things will play out for the former player who is quite a controversial figure in his country with his action as president.
