The French playoffs started with two home wins, as Strasbourg and Le Mans did what they were expected to.
Le Mans prevailed over Gravelines (76-67) with Romeo Travis being the man of the game with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists in a contest decided in the last quarter as the teams ended the third period tied on the score.
Strasbourg beat Pau Orthez (72-67) with Mardy Collins (photo) finishing the game with 16 points and 7 rebounds. The guests got within two points (66-64) with one minute left, but the hosts closed the game the right way with Collins answering with a big three (69-64).
