It’s the first weekend of action in the French ProA, but Limoges announced a key last second addition to its roster. With Zamal Nixon injured, the team signed 30 years old guard Clifford Hammonds.
The American player has already played in France with ASVEL back in the 2010-11 season and has also played in Darussafaka, Anadolu Efes, Banvit (Turkey), Peristeri (Greece), Igokea (Bosnia) and most recently in Alba Berlin (Germany) among other teams, winning the German Cup in 2014. He spend last season in the NBADL and now he returns to Europe in order to help Limoges achieve its goals.
