The perfect accuracy of John Roberson, Jeremy Nzuelie and Cameron Clark from the line didn’t allow Game 2 between Elan Chalon and Paris Levallois to become a last-second thriller like the previous match.
They combined for 10/10 free throws in the final minute of the match, helping Chalon win 84 – 77 and make the 2-0 in the series perhaps more difficult than what the final score shows.
Paris Levallois was leading 68 – 67 with two minutes remaining but a 9 – 0 run from their opponents decided the final outcome.
Roberson led Chalon with 21 points while Clark and Moustapha Fall added 19 apiece. Sane Landing and Louis Labeyrie scored 18 points each for the losing squad with the latter also grabbing 8 rebounds.
