The last game of Day 6 in the French League, Pro A was concluded tonight with Le Mans’ tough 69-72 win on the road against Antibes.
Even though Le Mans got a double-digit lead in the third quarter, Antibes tried to come back in the fourth but eventually fell short. The visitors, now remain as the only undefeated team in the competition (6-0) while Antibes fell to 2-4. For the winners, Justin Cobbs led the way with his 15 points and 10 assists.
Aside from tonight’s game, over the weekend Boris Diaw was excellent in his first win in France with Levallois against Boulazac. JL Bourg got an important win at home against Monaco in a tough game, while Strasburg and Le Portel enjoyed blowout wins at home against Hyeres-Toulon and Dijon respectively.
Furthermore, Gravelines-Dunkerque got a difficult on the road one-point victory against winless Chalon/Saone. Finally, Nanterre and Pau-Orthez also got wins on day 6.
