JL Bourg got the job done against Pau-Orthez 91-82 completing Day 11 of French ProA. Things certainly don’t look bright for Pau-Orthez as this was a fourth straight loss for them.
It looked like this will be a close game after the first quarter when the home team had managed a minor lead (21-19). Things were different in the second quarter, however, since JL Bourg overpowered the visitors 36-20 and never looked back.
Zachery Peacock was the main force for the winning team as he scored 25 points. Ηis teammate Youssou Ndoye grabbed α double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Taqwa Pinero scored 21 points for the losing side, but that was not enough.
JL Bourg now stands on a 6-5 record and Pau-Orthez slipped to a 5-6.
On Sunday AS Monaco crushed the reigning champion Chalon/Saône 87-57 thanks to Gerald Robinson who had a beautiful game with 21 points (9/13 from the field), 5 assists, and no turnovers.
