Levallois Metropolitans ended their two games losing streak in the French Pro A League with a win over Chalons-Reims 93-90 on the road.
It was a close match from the start until the end, but it was the visiting squad who had more focus down the last stretch.
Boris Diaw’s perfect first half with 9 points (1/1 for 3, 1/1 for 2 and 4/4 for 1), 3 rebounds and 3 assists was enough for Levallois to built three points lead 49-46 after high-paced first 20 minutes of action.
The legendary forward finished the game with 12 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. His all-around presents were the key for Levallois win along with Klemen Prepelic’s shooting. The Eurobasket champion with Slovenia finished the game with 18 points on a 4/9 shooting from the three-point territory.
LaMonte Ulmer had 18 points for the hosts, but couldn’t prevent the loss tonight.
With this win, Levallois moved up to a 9-11 record the same one Chalons-Reims is standing on.
