Boulazac defeated JL Bourg 71 – 62 in what was a defensive and close game down the stretch.
Boulazac had a four-point lead (66-62) with 25 seconds on the clock and took care of business at home as Trenton Meacham was clutch.
It was a back and forth game throughout. The hosts started the game off on the right foot, playing excellent defense and allowing the visitors to only score twelve first quarter points (21-12). In the second quarter, Bourg responded and played excellent defense of their own, allowing Boulazac to score eight points (8-26). In the final ten minutes, the home team picked it up.
Meacham was impressive for the winners, scoring 19 points and clutch shots in the final two minutes of the contest.
