Monaco is in the French League finals. With an 83-94 victory, Monaco got past Limoges on the road in Game 4 and thus qualified for the ProA Finals.
In the first half, the hosts had a double-digit lead (50-39) as Gibson was leading the way, but in the third period, the visitors were unstoppable. With a 7-16 run, they went up ahead (54-55), but did not stop there.
Paul Lacombe and Amara Sy were scoring, orchestrating the offense and so Monaco had a phenomenal third quarter (13-33). The two teams headed into the final period with a nine-point lead (63-72). Limoges could not respond in the final period, and so Monaco won the game.
Monaco finished with five players in double-digits and had an impressive ‘big 3’ of Sy, Robinson, and Lacombe. Sy finished with 18 points, while Glen Robinson (15 points) and Paul Lacombe (14 pts) had solid games.
For Limoges, six players put up double-figures.
