Chalon/Saone was trailing twice by a double-digit margin but they managed to come back and win 85-82 against Le Portel after overtime on Day 5 of the French League.
Justin Robinson led the charge with 19 points while Mykal Riley added 16. For Le Portel, Darrell Williams scored 20 points.
Le Portel had a 12-0 start and a 33-27 halftime lead which escalated to a 14-point margin during the third period (50-36) but the guests managed to come back and were on the verge of winning in regular time (73-71) but Pierre-Etienne Drouault scored for Le Portel and the overtime. Chalon kept the momentum and prevailed in the end.
Lyon-Villeurbanne holds the first spot with a 7-1 record while Chalon is right behind with 6-2. Le Portel has a 4-4 record after this loss while Antibes is the only team without a win (0-8).
