Nantes announced that guard Jermaine Marshall was found dead. He was 28 years old.
The late American guard has played in Italy, Greece, Netherlands, and Finland before joining Nantes in the French Pro B League.
No further information about his passing has been revealed. Nantes also announced that its upcoming domestic game is put off in mourning of the player.
During his college days, Marshall played for three seasons with Penn State and one with Arizona State before turning pro.
