Cholet prevailed over Gravelines-Dunkerque on the road with a 79-73 victory in the final game of Round 11 of the French Jeep Elite League.
Nianta Diarra paced the winning side with 16 points and nine rebounds, while on the other end of the court Erik McCree posted a game-high of 17 points for the home team.
Earlier in Round 11, ASVEL defeated Le Portel to remain on top of the standings with a perfect 11-0 record. Levallois follows with a 10-1 record, Monaco ranks third with 9-2 while Dijon holds a 9-3 record with one more game played.
The most unfortunate event of the round, however, took part between Roanne and Elan Bearnais, with the first team’s Justin Carter facing disciplinary charges for throwing punches to Cheikh Mbodj.
