Fenerbahce Beko beat Tofas Bursa 84 – 75 at home for Round 23 of the Turkish BSL League regular season. The game was in an empty Ulker arena since all BSL matches are held behind closed doors.
Nando De Colo scored 19 points and dished out nine assists for Fenerbahce. Melih Mahmutoglu added 14 points while Jan Vesely and Berkay Candan dropped 12 points apiece.
Baris Ermis (14 points), Berkan Durmaz (12 points) and Muhsin Yasar (12 points) stood out from Tofas. The Bursa side was without Devin Williams and Sammy Mejia. They both reportedly skipped the match due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Fener improved to 17 – 5 while Tofas dropped to 15-7.
The Turkish League is one of the three championships in Europe holding games amid the coronavirus pandemic, along with the English BBL and the Russian Superleague. Turkey has reported six confirmed coronavirus cases as of Sunday (15/3).
