Five games were on the schedule this weekend in the Turkish League with both Fenerbahce BEKO and Anadolu Efes stepping on the court and keeping the top of the standings.
Fenerbahce logged an 87-73 win over Galatasaray, led by Marko Guduric with 18 points while Jan Vesely and Dyshawn Pierre added 15 each. Lorenzo Brown logged 13 points and eight assists.
Efes was also victorious with 81-70 against Darussafaka Tekfen with Chris Singelton scoring 15 points in addition to Shane Larkin’s 14 and Krunoslav Simon‘s 11 points. Efes remains unbeaten with a 13-0 record, while Fenerbahce and Karsiyaka are tied in second place at 12-3.
Pinar Karsiyaka got past Besiktas on the road with 84-72 on the scoreboard. Amath M’Baye was on fire with 28 points on 9-12 shooting.
Tomislav Zubcic scored 18 points in Tofas’ 78-64 home win against Turk Telekom for which Kyle Wiltjer scored 14. The losing side remained fourth in the standings with a 9-6 record.
