Bahcesehir Koleji announced that the team has bolstered its frontcourt with two Serbian big men in Vladimir Stimac and Stefan Jankovic.
Stimac was a free agent after parting ways with the Chinese club Quingdao due to the change in the league’s rules regarding foreign players. He played nine games, averaging 9.3 points and 7.9 rebounds.
Jankovic started the season with Partizan NIS but wasn’t in the plans of the newly appointed coach Saso Filipovski and the sides parted ways. He played seven games with 5.9 points and 2.7 boards on average.
Bahcesehir got eliminated from the 7DAYS EuroCup in the first stage after going 2-8 and are currently 6-13 in the Turkish League. They’ve lost four in a row.
