Krunoslav Simon powered Anadolu Efes to an 84-80 win over Besiktas as Ergin Ataman’s squad remains undefeated in the Turkish League after 20 games. Simon finished the game with a team-high performance of 22 points, followed by Shane Larkin who posted 13 and Bryant Dunston added 13 along with 7 rebounds.
Sehmus Hazer paced the efforts of Besiktas with 22 points, Alperen Sengun added 15 points and James Blackmon also had 15.
Earlier on Sunday, Fenerbahce bounced back in the Turkish League standings (15-5) with an 80-67 victory over Petkim Spor (7-13). Alex Perez led all scorers for Igor Kokoskov’s squad with 16 points, Kyle O’Quinn and Melih Mahmutoglu posted 14 points each. Ilkan Karaman had 12 points for Petkim.
