Anadolu Efes has been on the rise lately but Afyon Belediye managed to end their perfect momentum in the Turkish BSL with a 103-85 victory. Efes held on to a 22-0 record prior to this game, including also stunning performances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
Francisco Cruz paced the efforts of Belediye with 22 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds and Tanner Leissner had 20 points for the hosts that snapped back from a three-game losing streak.
Dzanan Musa led Ergin Ataman’s squad with 18 points, 5 rebounds, Sertac Sanli dropped 13 points and Tibor Pleiss added 12.
