Frutti Extra Bursaspor got a very important 82-77 home win against Fenerbahce BEKO which has taken the team a step closer to the playoff zone with only two games left to go.
Bursaspor improved to 12-16 and is on the chase for the eighth spot that belongs to Gaziantep (13-14) which will face off against Turk Telekom on the road this week. Fener (21-7) stayed second behind Anadolu Efes (27-1).
Oguz Savas turned back time and delivered a 20-point performance on 9-10 shooting to lead the way for the victors while Lamar Peters had 14 points and 12 boards. Xavier Munford scored 16 points.
For Fenerbahce, Melih Mahmutoglu scored 12 in addition to Danilo Barthel and Jarrell Eddie’s 11 points each.
