Three candidates competed for the position of the Turkish Basketball Federation president and the outcome was decided on November 4th. The results went in favor of Hidayet Turkoglu once again and he was re-elected as the chairman.
The General Assembly was held in Ankara while 180 participated in the voting. Hidayet Turkoglu received a total of 81 votes at the end of the 4th ballot box, mathematically guaranteeing the win and getting re-elected as the TBF president.
As for the other two candidates, Harun Erdenay got 35 votes while Erman Kunter received 19 votes.
