Anadolu Efes overcame a mediocre first half to defeat Turk Telekom 79-66 for their second consecutive victory in the Turkish BSL. A much-needed win for Ergin Ataman’s squad, which lost to Zenit on the road on Friday in the EuroLeague.
Shane Larkin and Rodrigue Beaubois got the job done for Efes (5-2) with 16 points each in this win. Bugrahan Tuncer posted 12 points and six assists and Tibor Pleiss added 11 points and 7 rebounds.
Aaron Harrison led the way for Turk Telekom with 13 points, 6 rebounds, Samet Geyik tapped 12 points and JaJuan Johnson added 10 points along with 9 rebounds.
Earlier in the day, Fenerbahce kept up its hot streak against Yalovaspor and emerged with an 86-60 victory. Ahmet Duverioglu posted 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners, Jan Vesely had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Devin Booker and Tarik Biberovic both posted 10 points each.
Brian Conklin paced Yalovaspor with 13 points.
