Milton Doyle poured a season-high performance with 32 points to help Gaziantep prevail over Anadolu Efes 93-83 on Christmas Day. Prior to this game, Efes had an eight-game winning streak in the Turkish League, which came to an end.
QJ Peterson followed with 28 points, 7 assists and Alpha Kaba added up 20 points and 12 rebounds for Gaziantep, as the team managed to outrun Efes in the fourth quarter to clinch the victory.
Rodrigue Beaubois posted 22 points for Efes, Elijah Bryant and Filip Petrusev tapped 12 points each and Chris Singleton left the game with 10 points.
Gaziantep improved to a 9-5 record to overtake the second spot of the BSL standings and Efes remains second with an 11-3 record. Fenerbahce with a 13-1 record remains on top, however, the team lost to injury both Jan Vesely and Nando De Colo.
