Anadolu Efes emerged with an 84-77 victory over Tofas at home to win their third straight game in the Turkish Super Lig and move up to the second place of the standings with a 16-4 record.
Adrien Moerman kept Efes intact when Tofas pushed for a comeback in the fourth quarter, to lead all scorers of Ergin Ataman’s team with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Tibor Pleiss followed not far behind with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Vasilije Micic was added to the list of top scorers with 12 points and 9 assists, while Erten Gazi scored 10 points.
Tyler Ennis scored 16 points for Tofas, which now falls to a 12-9 record in the eighth place of the standings. Kasey Shepherd and Elgin Cook had 13 points apiece and Muhsin Yasar scored 11.
