Fenerbahce started the game leading 27-15 after 10 minutes of action. However, Darussafaka managed to get the 82-81 win and tie at 1-1 the semifinal series of the Turkish BSL.
Nathan Boothe saved the day. After failing to put the ball on the court with nine seconds left and with Dacka leading by one (82-81) he stole the ball from Nando De Colo and decided the outcome of the game.
Boothe also scored 17 points on 5/6 threes making key plays down the stretch. Dogus Ozdemiroglu did the same, making big threes and scoring in total 20 points, while dishing eight assists. Gabriel Olaseni added 11 points and a dunk to remember.
Nando De Colo (24 p.) and Jan Vesely (17 p. 8 r.) tried their best for Fenerbahce, which trailed even by eight points (79-71) in the fourth quarter. The best-of-five series after two games in Fenerbahce’s home court now moves to Darussafaka’s gym.
