Fenerbahce got the 91-65 win over Darussafaka and with 3-1 wins qualified to the Turkish BSL finals. However, Marko Guduric suffered a knee injury and his status for the finals is currently unclear.

It was an ugly and physical game decided in the first half. Fenerbahce had a 16-10 lead after a bad first quarter, but managed to jump to a 19-point halftime advantage (42-23) while Darussafaka simply couldn’t score.

The hosts had 0/12 threes at halftime and also nine turnovers. Darussafaka’s players simply seemed exhausted in what ended up being their last game for the season.

Things got heated in the third period, despite Fenerbahce leading by 20 or more. Guduric proved unlucky and got injured while trying to dunk. Isaiah Pineiro tried his best to play clean defense, but the two players collided in the air and Guduric landed on his knee.

However, a foul was called and Darussafaka’s coach Selcuk Ernak was ejected with a second “T” for his complains to the referees.

The game was already over, Fenerbahce led even by 33 (89-56) after a dunk by Ahmet Duverioglu and Ismet Akpinar who scored 10 crucial points in the second quarter, finished the night with 21. Nando De Colo added 17.

Troy Caupain scored 15 for the losing side and veteran guard Sinan Guler added 10.
