It seemed that only Fenerbahce was on the floor in Game 2 of the Finals in Turkey.

With five players scoring in double figures, Fenerbahce Beko put on one of its top performances of the season to beat Anadolu Efes 93 – 78 in Game 2 of the Turkish BSL League Finals and take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series. Game 2, a chance for Fener to win the championship and an elimination match for Efes, is hosted by the latter.

Fener actually won maybe easier than what the final margin shows. Sasa Djordjevic’s players dominated the second period 36 – 21 to take a 54 – 32 halftime lead and established an advantage of around 20 points. Efes, that had star guard Vasilije Micic back from an ankle injury, wasn’t even competitive after the break and Ergin Ataman didn’t use both the Serbian guard and Shane Larkin at all in the fourth period.

Jan Vesely was the top contributor for Fener with 18 points plus eight rebounds while Marko Guduric scored 18 as well. Tarik Biberovic had 17 points, Nando De Colo dropped 16 points and Devin Booker added 13 points.

The performances of Elijah Bryant (19 points) and Metecan Birsen (12 points) were perhaps the only positive aspects of Efes‘ game. Larkin didn’t manage to be a factor and was held at 10 points (on 3-7 shots) plus five assists while Micic finished with seven points on 2-9 shots in his return.
