Pinar Karsiyaka beat Yukatel Merkezefendi 109 – 101 on the road after three (!) overtime periods in a Turkish BSL game. This was just the fourth match this century in the Turkish championship that three extra periods where needed to determine the winner.
Three players overall finished the game with 30+ points. Kenan Sipahi dropped a career-high 35 points to lead Pinar Karsiyaka overall, surpassing his scoring record by 11 points, while also posting five rebounds and four assists. Braian Angola provided 33 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for the winning squad.
Nikos Rogkavopoulos delivered 31 points (also a career-high) and six rebounds for Merkezefendi. Ayberk Olmaz notched 18 points plus 10 rebounds, Xavier Rathan-Mayes had 16 points, nine assists and six rebounds.
