With five players scoring in double figures Fenerbahe Beko defeated Manisa BBSK on the road 82 – 69 to move to 7 – 1 and catch up with Anadolu Efes in the first place of the Turkish BSL League standings.
Johnathan Motley led the charge for Fener with 22 points, six rebounds and four assists. Scottie Wilbekin pitched in 19 points, seven assists and four rebounds while Nate Sestina contributed 12 points, eight boards and four dimes of his own. Sehmus Hazer had 10 points, six rebounds plus six assists and Melih Mahmutoglu added 10 points.
Pako Cruz paced Manissa with 18 points and five assists. Trevon Duvan scored 14, Emmanuel Terry posted 11 points and seven rebounds and James Anderson had 11 points.
Next up for Fener is the EuroLeague game at Virtus Bologna Thursday (23/11).
Efes was faced with a challenge against Merkezefendi for one half but delivered after the break to also get a win thanks to a season-high performance by Derek Willis.
