Despite their injury woes, Anadolu Efes still has the character of the back-to-back champions.
After getting two wins in the EuroLeague double-round win, the team of coach Erdem Can beat Fenerbahce 81-80 after a big fight and got a 10-1 record in the Turkish BSL, a solid advantage over the losing side which dropped to 8-3.
Darius Thompson finished the game with 21 points and five assists, Erten Gazi scored 17 points, Ercan Osmani was near a double-double (14 points, 8 rebounds), and Shane Larkin with 12 points and 10 assists, after scoring 10 points in the first half, were the best of the winners.
For Fenerbahce, Nigel Hayes-Davis missed the chance to win the game for Fenerbahce at the buzzer, scoring in total 16 points. Scottie Wilbekin had 18 and was the top scorer of the losing side.
