With Shane Larkin and Will Clyburn on the sidelines, Anadolu Efes had to put in extra effort to take on Yukatel Merkezefendi at the Sinan Erdem Dome.
Elijah Bryant and Daniel Oturu led the charge as Tomislav Mijatovic’s side took down the guests in the final 10 minutes, securing an 83-77 victory at home.
Former Merkezefendi big man Oturu finished as the top scorer for the winning side with 22 points on 10/15 shooting from the field, also grabbing seven rebounds. However, Bryant was the star of the show, flirting with a triple-double, scoring 21 points, with seven boards and six assists.
Rodrigue Beaubois and Ridvan Oncel followed the crucial duo with 11 points apiece, while Darius Thompson added nine points.
Marko Pecarski stood out for the losing side with 23 points and eight boards on 10-14 shooting, Nike Sibande followed with 16 points, and Nate Mason added 13 as Merkezefendi fought well until the final moments.
