Anadolu Efes couldn’t follow its latest EuroLeague appointment, where they won against Baskonia by 21 points (97-76). In the Turkish Basketball Super League Round 25, they had the upper hand with a 25-point victory (98-73) against Petkim Spor, staying on top of the standings with a 22-3 record.
Both Rodrigue Beaubois and Dan Oturu were protagonists of their team’s win, providing 23 points each; the American center also grabbed 8 rebounds, going close to a double-double. Erkan Yilmaz added 14 points and 5 boards.
Dogus Ozdemiroglu, who hasn’t started the season after suffering a long-time injury against Italy in the summer with the Turkish national team, returned to the court and played seven minutes.
On the losing side, which is now tied with Darussafaka at 7th place with a 12-13 record, David Efianayi was the team’s highest scorer with 18 points, followed by Mahir Agva (15 points and 6 rebounds) and Jeremy Simmons (14 points and 6 rebounds).
