After losing to crosstown rival Anadolu Efes in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi and the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, and a similar outcome against Olympiacos in overtime on Friday, Fenerbahce Beko falling shy of a win on Monday extended a losing streak to four games.
In Round 27 of the BSL Regular Season, Turk Telekom notched a 95-91 victory versus Fenerbahce in Ankara Arena.
Tyrone Wallace and James Palmer Jr. paved the way for the hosts with 22 and 21 points, respectively. Snapping a three-game losing streak, the Ankara outfit improved to 12-15, meeting the bottom end of the Playoffs zone.
For the team coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius, Tarik Biberovic stood out with 23 points. Johnathan Motley, Scottie Wilbekin, Nigel Hayes-Davis, Amine Noua, Yigit Hamza Mestoglu, Tyler Dorsey, Nick Calathes, and Raul Neto sat out the Round 27 contest due to injuries or squad restrictions.
