Reigning Turkish champions, Anadolu Efes will have the chance to defend their throne in the Turkish BSL Finals after sweeping Pinar Karsiyaka.
Tomislav Mijatovic’s side emerged victorious in Game 3 played in Izmir, winning 90-97 to clinch the spot in the Championship showdown with a 3-0 series win.
Shane Larkin once again led the way for Anadolu Efes with 28 points, six assists, and four rebounds but had great help from Will Clyburn, who scored 19 points with six boards.
Dogus Ozdemiroglu added 16 points, Derek Willis scored 13, and Rodrigue Beaubois contributed 11 points in the finals-clinching feat.
Despite Eric McCollum’s efforts to keep Karsiyaka in the series with 28 points, seven assists, and five rebounds, it wasn’t enough. Vitto Brown followed with 17 points, Kelan Martin scored 16, and Kenan Sipahi contributed 14 points.
Anadolu Efes will face Fenerbahce or Besiktas in the championship battle. Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team leads the series 2-0.
