Nigel Hayes-Davis scored 28 points and grabbed five rebounds as Fenerbahce Beko defeated Anadolu Efes 85 – 74 in Game 1 of the Turkish BSL Finals.

Dyshawn Pierre added 16 points while Nick Calathes had 11 assists to go with his eight points for a Fenerbahce team that was superior after the first period. Efes went up 25 – 24 early in the quarter and then Hayes-Davis and Pierre put their team up 29 – 39 and 36 – 1 at halftime.

Fener went on to dominate and led even 45 – 68 in the third period. Efes just managed to reduce the gap down the stretch but never truly came back in the game.

Ercan Osmani scored 18 and Shane Larkin had 16 points plus seven assists for Efes. Charlotte Hornets guard Vasilije Micic, a two-time EuroLeague champion and former season and Final Four MVP with Efes, was in attendance, wearing the jersey of his ex backcourt mate Larkin.
