A dominating display for Fenerbahce Beko secured a win, 86-72, versus Anadolu Efes in Ulker Sports Arena on Sunday.
Two Efes players were ejected, Vincent Poirier after a second technical foul early in the second quarter and Elijah Bryant was tossed with 2:08 left in the fourth quarter. Further down the stretch, with Fener in a safe distance, the tension on the court insisted, including Ridvan Oncel and Arturs Zagars in a brief scuffle.
Latvian Zagars netted a team-high 19 points plus four assists and two rebounds in Round 7 of the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi Regular Season. Nicolo Melli chipped in 14 points and seven rebounds. On the opposite end, Bryant recorded a game-high 23 points.
In an injury concern for head coach Tomislav Mijatovic, Dogus Ozdemiroglu hurt his left foot and exited with 8:02 on the clock.

Earlier Sunday, Tofas reached 7-0, securing a one-game lead over Fener and Efes. Overcoming a 31-point showing by Breein Tyree, the Bursa outfit beat Aliaga Petkimspor, 107-99, in Tofas Arena.
In Ankara on Saturday, Hugo Besson scored a career-high 37 points, lifting Manisa over Turk Telekom, 85-80, and to the first win in the 2024-25 installment of the BSL.
