Anadolu Efes is going through a rough patch, and today’s loss on the road against Büyükçekmece in the Turkish BSL only confirmed that.
Luca Banchi’s side suffered defeat in the final moments, with Yannick Franke hitting the game-winning three-pointer for a final score of 91-89 in favor of the hosts.
Franke led Büyükçekmece with 24 points, Markel Starks added 17, while Martynas Sajus followed with 13. Jermaine Love and Nikola Rebić contributed 10 points each.
On the other side, Ercan Osmani scored 21 points for Anadolu Efes, while Shane Larkin added 19 but missed a tough buzzer-beater for the win. Daniel Oturu and Jordan Nwora chipped in with 12 points each, and Rolands Šmits contributed 11.
Anadolu Efes is now 1-5 under Luca Banchi, falling to 11-4 in the BSL standings, while Büyükçekmece improved to 5-10.
