Fenerbahce Beko edged out Onvo Buyukcekmece, 78-73, in Istanbul’s Gazanfer Bilge Spor Salonu on Sunday.

Former Wisconsin standout Nigel Hayes-Davis put in 15 of a game-high 21 points in the second half and Bonzie Colson threw in 13 more points, pushing Fener to 15-1 in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi Regular Season. A tenth consecutive win between the domestic league and the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague created a distance of three games from Tofas and 3.5 games from Anadolu Efes.

From Scottie Wilbekin ruled out for the remainder of the 2024-25 season after surgery in his right knee and Wade Baldwin IV sidelined indefinitely with a hamstring injury, other missing players for head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius extended to Skylar Mays, Errick McCollum, and Dyshawn Pierre due to league restrictions on foreign players.

On the wrong end of a tight affair, Markel Starks shared a game-high 21 points with Hayes-Davis and Martynas Sajus posted a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double. Their side fell to 5-11.

Closing Round 16 on Monday, fellow EuroLeague participant Efes will be on the road to take on Yalovaspor.
