Thanks to a buzzer beater by Jamon Gordon, Dogus Darussafaka got the win in the delayed Istanbul derby against Galatasaray (72-70).
Despite an amazing first half by Sinan Guler who had 20 points and finished the game with 26, Darussafaka managed to come back and steal the big road win. Before Gordon’s shot Galatasaray couldn’t make a shot in the 24 second allowed by the clock and with 7 second left, they got the chance to make the winning shot.
Galatasaray is now third in the standings with a 18-7 record, having one win more than Darussafaka (17-8). Anadolu Efes (21-4) and Fenerbahce (19-6) are still on top of the standings.
