The Turkish playoffs have begun with Anadolu Efes and Darussafaka Dogus protecting their home court advantage and making the 1-0 in the series against Gaziantep and Banvit respectively.
With 21 points and 5 rebounds by Dario Saric, Efes overcame the obstacle of Gaziantep, winning 83 – 71 thanks to a great game during the second half. The guests shot with 14/27 from behind the arc, but lacked their opponents’ diverse offensive choices. Julyan Stone had 15 points and 6 rebounds for Gaziantep.
Darussafaka struggled against a tough to beat Banvit, and in a thrilling finale end took the victory 77 – 76. An excellent Luke Haragondy scored 23 points (5/7 three-pointers) and grabbed 8 rebounds, while Adrien Moerman dropped 27 points and had 8 rebounds for the team from Bandirma.
