Thanks to a three by Bogdanovic, Fenerbahce got a crucial 76-70 lead on the way to a 79-75 road win as they remain on top of the league standings with a 19-2 record.
Bobby Dixon also made big plays, having 16 points, the same as Bogdanovic, and Janes Nunnally locked the win in the free throws line having in total 11 points for Fenerbahce which is still missing injured Kostas Sloukas, but had Ekpe Udoh back.
Galatasaray build a 41-28 half time lead, led even by 15, but used a short rotation as both Blake Schilb and Emir Preldzic were missing for one more game. Errick McCollumm in his first game of his return to Istanbul scored 12 points, still ultimately couldn’t make a difference.
Vladimir Micov scored 15 points for the losing side and Tibor Pleiss had a double double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. After this result Galatasaray has to settle for the 6th spot of the standings at the moment with a 12-9 record.
