Fenerbahce (22-2) enjoyed a home victory against Tofas (10-14) with 90-75 in the 24th round of the Turkish league and now enjoys the top position of the standings.
James Nunnally added 26 points in his team’s triumph, followed by Jan Vesely‘s 15.
The two leading scorers paced Fenerbahce to an early 21-17 lead after the first quarter and despite the fast tempo of the game, the hosts were up only by one point at halftime, 42-41.
With faster offensive attacks in the third quarter, the hosts took control after 30 minutes, leading 63-51.
From that point on, Fener accelerated and with efficient shooting, they could keep a broad lead until the end of the game.
