In a game decided on the last shot, as Anadolu Efes couldn’t score in the remaining time and Besiktas got the 72-72 win and a 2-0 lead in the BSL semifinals.
Strawberry scored in total 18 points, making his last bucket as he was falling over the stretched hand of Bryant Dunston. Michael Thompson had 20 and Vladimir Stimac a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winers.
From the other side Jayson Granger was amazing with 22 points, Dunston added 12 points and 7 rebounds, while Cedi Osman and Thomas Heurtel scored 9 crucial points each as Anadolu Efes come back from a 10 points deficit (63-53) in the last quarter.
Besiktas managed to have a 37-31 half time lead, but the guests tried until the last second to steal the game. However, D.J.Strawberry didn’t let them tie the series.
