Jan Vesely posted a double-double of 26 points plus 11 rebounds, Bogdan Bogdanovic flirted with one after 23 points and nine assists as Fenerbahce beat Besiktas 98 – 94 in overtime of Game 4 of the Finals to win the series and the title after a sweep.
Besiktas fought more than hard to stay alive and was even leading by 14 points, 79 – 65 with two minutes remaining in the game. Everything showed that the series will go to a Game 5 but an outburst by Bogdanovic in combination with a series of consecutive mistakes by the hosts led the match to the extra period.
Fener had the momentum and proceeded to win the game and seventh Turkish League championship in the history of the franchise. The Serbian guard also won Finals MVP honors following what might be his last game in Europe for many years.
Kenan Sipahi finished with 22 points and five assists while DJ Strawberry had 20 points and four assists for Besiktas.
