After two overtime periods and with eight seconds remaining in what was by far the best game of the 2017-2018 Turkish Basketball Super League, Billy Baron decided to put the icing on the cake.
With Eskisehir down 116 -118 on the road against Gaziantep, the American guard struck from downtown, handling his team a 119 – 118 victory, its third in the season.
It was quite the shot, right?
Baron finished the match with a team-high 26 points while former NBA champion Jeff Ayres added 20 points and 18 (!) rebounds. Mark Lyons had 30 points and Victor Rudd scored 28 and grabbed 12 rebounds for Gaziantep.
Earlier, Tolga Gecim hit a crazy game-winner to give Banvit a 73 – 70 victory over Trabzonspor.
