Fenerbahce got the easy 83 – 62 road win against his eternal rival, Galatasaray. Hosts fall to a 2-2 record, while Fenerbahce improves to 3-1 in BSL.
Guests dominated the game thanks to a strong start. After one quarter, Fenerbahce was leading by 9 (21 – 12).
Alex Renfroe, who finished with 13 points and 8 assists, couldn’t slow down the guests. Fenerbahce was enjoying a 23-point lead starting the last period (63 – 40). Nothing changed in the fourth quarter and Zeljko Obradovic’s men had a comfortable ending.
Sinan Güler returned to Sinan Erdem Dome. He couldn’t score a lot of points -just 2- but he completed a good performance with 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
The key: Fenerbahce’s aggressive defense was the key. Galatasaray struggled offensively in the first and third quarter (12 and 9 points)
The star: Marko Guduric led the winners with 18 points and 6 rebounds, while Melih Mahmutoğlu 16 more.
