Errick McCollum was simply unstoppable tonight for Anadolu Efes as he was on fire finishing the game with no less than 41 points! The American hit 8 triples from 12 attempts making a crowd go wild adding 3 assists to complete the show for the hosts as Efes prevailed over Usak 87-84 in the Turkish Basketball League.
Even with McCollum’s incredible game, it wasn’t easy for Efes to beat Usak as they were trailing after the first quarter 26-20. The key was the last quarter as the hosts had more focus and energy down to the last stretch. They had 7-0 run in the begging of the fourth quarter as they won that period 32-20 with McCollum scoring 11 points and 3 triples in that period.
Vladimir Stimac helped McCollum and Efes with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Jackie Carmichael’s 15 points and 9 rebounds were not enough as his team lost.
Efes now moved up to a 6-2 record and Usak slipped to a 1-7.
