Fenerbahce defeated Buyukcekmece 82 – 59 after a comfortable game at home. Zeljko Obradovic’s team improved to a 6-2 record while the guests fell to 3-5 in BSL.
The visitors held Fenerbahce’s rhythm for 6 minutes (12-10, 6 ‘) but right after, the reigning champions increased the pace. At the half, they were leading by 16 points (45 – 29).
Nothing change after the break but Buyukcekmece tried to reduce the deficit in the last quarter. They were unsuccessful and the difference continued growing until the 82 – 55 (39’), the biggest lead of the game.
James Nunnally led the winners with 13 points and 4 rebounds. Melih Mahmutoglu contributed with 11 points while Jason Thompson added 6 points and 9 boards.
Carl Wright’s 13 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds weren’t enough for the guests.
