Fenerbahce registered its fourth consecutive victory in BSL after defeating Yesilgiresun Belediyespor 85 – 72 at home. Zeljko Obradovic‘s team improved to an 8-2 record while the guests fell to 4-6 in the standings.
The game was tight for 8 minutes (16 – 14) but right after, Fenerbahce went into a 10 – 2 run to finish the first quarter 10 points ahead. Nicolo Melli was unstoppable with 16 points and 4 rebounds at the half.
Fenerbahce started the third quarter with a 17-points-lead (51 – 34) and they continued increasing the advantage. Yesilgiresun reduced the deficit in the last minutes.
Melli led the winners with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Marko Guduric contributed with 12 points while Ahmet Duverioglu and Luigi Datome added 10 points each.
Darrell Williams’ 15 points and 8 rebounds weren’t enough for the guests.
